Today we are exploring the Unova region in our quest to become the very best, like no one ever was, in Game Freak and the Pokémon Company’s Pokémon White.

If you are a regular listener to the podcast, you will know that I recently reviewed Pokémon Scarlet, crowning it as my personal ‘best Pokémon game ever’. After posting my Quick Review of the game to Youtube, I got a lot of push back from Pokémon, how should we say. . . enthusiasts, saying that Pokémon White was a better game because it has a better story.

So is Pokémon White really better than Pokémon Scarlet or is it just nostalgia talking, let's find out in this week's episode.

Pokémon Scarlet released with its partner game Pokémon Violet back on 18th November 2022. The game released to some conflicted reviews, with reviewers applauding the open-world changes made to the game, but despising how poorly the game ran on the Nintendo Switch.
