The Sweet 16 is upon us along with some breaking news in NCAA men’s and women’s basketball so we go through it all on this episode with Coach James Young.

On our Tip-Off Topics, sad news for JuJu Watkins and USC as she suffers a season-ending ACL injury. We, then, go through three new head coach hirings: Ben McCollum officially taking the helm at Iowa, Fran McCaffery reportedly the next head coach at UPenn, and Xavier reportedly hiring Richard Pitino. In addition, the madness continues not just in the NCAA Tournament, but also in the transfer portal as well, as much as 1800+ men and women players have entered the transfer portal. Could this be the reason that college basketball might take a huge turn? Is it for better or worse?

Lastly, we have two Scouting Reports for you as Coach goes through all of the Sweet 16 games in order of date and time chronologically for both Thursday and Friday. He will give a best bet for each game that you don’t want to miss. Let the March Madness continue on!

We continue our full coverage of March Madness with a sprinkle of NBA tied into this episode with Coach James Young.

First up on the Tip-Off Topics, we recap some of the notable Round of the 32 games, in which Arkansas upset St. John’s, Duke dominated Baylor, and Houston barely winning over Gonzaga. In addition, we take a look at some of the head coaching moves from some programs that include Will Wade as new head coach for NC State, Rodney Terry fired by Texas, and Ryan Odom hired by Virginia.

Next on our Award Tour, we look at the futures market for both the men’s and women’s tournament. On the men’s side, we wonder if Arkansas and Ole Miss have a respective chance to reach the Elite 8 as the Sweet 16 approaches that the end of this week. On the women’s side we looked at Region 3 and see what can kind of value plays can you make to win that Region and make the Final Four. In addition, we take a look at the updated national championship odds for the women as the odds have changed since the beginning of the NCAA Tournament. Who do you think wins it all ultimately for both men’s and women’s and hoist that 2025 championship trophy.
