  • SIBO and Endo and Mold, Oh My! My Crazy 3 Year Health Journey
    2022/06/14

After a hiatus, I'm back on the podcast detailing my 3-years-long health battle. It's been a journey that has included my second endometriosis surgery for stage 4 endo, a SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) diagnosis, and what now looks like mold toxicity. Between weight gain, hair loss, insomnia, and brain fog to name a few, it's been an ordeal. I try to detail everything somewhat lightheartedly, but I wanted to share my experience and struggles to help others who might be going through it. I've been to countless doctors, had tons of bloodwork and ultrasounds, and even had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I've done everything! Hearing other people's stories has been really helpful for me so I wanted to share mine and why I'm feeling hopeful that I might finally be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

  • Talking Stand-Up Comedy with Comedian Joanna Goslin
    2021/01/04

Today I'm talking with comedian Joanna Goslin about her stand-up comedy journey and how she got her start. I really enjoyed this conversation because Joanna overcame some harsh critics at a young age to continue pursuing a passion and talent. We met through an online content creation class at Second City and I'm so grateful we crossed paths! Side note: if you're wanting to do something creative but feeling stuck due to the pandemic, I highly recommend taking an online class. Not only is it a great way to sharpen your skills and do something creative, but it's been perfect for connecting with people across the county who have similar interests and goals!

  • My Double Life and What I've Been Doing the Last Few Years
    2020/12/28

It's just me on today's episode and I wanted to talk about some of the passions I've been secretly pursuing the past few years! I truly feel like I live a double life sometimes with balancing my blogging, real estate, personal, and now comedy content creation careers. I wanted to talk about my journey from getting the idea to take acting classes, then improv, and now writing and content creation in the comedic space. It's scary to reveal something you've held close to the vest for so long, but I think it's good to get uncomfortable. I ramble a lot in this episode but really wanted to share some personal thoughts and struggles I've had to overcome over the years, and hope it can help someone else who feels nervous to take a leap into something new.

  • Influencer Season Is Upon Us. Here's How To Be A Fall Influencer
    2020/10/13

As someone who has been creating content on the Internet since 2012, I've noticed some trends over the years. In my opinion, October has emerged as peak season for "influencers". Now, the word influencer encompasses so many different groups of people who create content on social media and the internet. These tips are mainly geared toward those who want to achieve the highest levels of "basic". Think pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice lattes, large brimmed hats, and leaves. Lots of leaves. I wanted to share some simple steps in case you too seek to become an autumnal influencer.

*In case anyone out there reading this takes things way too seriously, this episode is meant to be a lighthearted satire on influencer culture. After doing this for so many years I've learned to find humor in things that may otherwise be frustrating, which this "influencer" world can definitely be sometimes!

  • Nostalgic Fashion Trends of 90s Girls with Molly Villari
    2020/10/06

As a child of the 90s I frequently reminisce of the good old days and simpler times. I got together with my friend Molly Villari of the blog See Molly Blog to chat about our most nostalgic fashion moments from the greatest decade ever! Molly and I actually knew each other during the 90s as we were on the same swim team and reconnected as adults through blogging. I figured she'd be the perfect person to chat about our style from back in the day. Whether it was butterfly clips or anything and everything from Limited Too, there is much to dissect from this glorious decade of our childhood. We also spend a good deal of time talking about Bath and Body Works face glitter. If anyone else lived through the times of wearing roller glitter on your face then you understand!

  • The Influencer Causing Outrage Amid the Pandemic
    2020/04/03

Influencer Arielle Charnas of Something Navy has been making headlines during the coronavirus pandemic. People are questioning her decision to document herself getting tested for the virus on her Instagram account and more recently decamping to the Hamptons to self-isolate with her family after testing positive. While I'm not as interested in gossiping or judging, I'm more interested in this situation and the growing argument that influencers are disconnected from their followers and reality. In a world of oversharing, I think this unprecedented time we're in will further put the spotlight on influencers to see who can and cannot relate to their audiences.
