  • Caught by a Cult: Wesley Bosman and the Recruitment Gone Wrong
    2025/05/20
Join us today for a chilling dive into the disappearance of Wesley, a man from Abbotsford, British Columbia, missing since April 23, 2024. Wesley’s aunts, Laura and Lynn, seek answers, believing he was lured into a cult or religious group through online connections. Jonathan’s mediumship points to Wesley’s planned escape to a nomadic, tech-free group, possibly brainwashed into feeling accepted. Wesley, a reclusive gamer with no social life beyond his computer, left a disturbing note referencing “Lord Baal,” a supernatural event, and his intent to “depart this world to marry and live on.” He wiped all digital devices, took no belongings, and was last seen on CCTV frantically running near McCallum Road and Highway 11. Despite exhaustive searches, Wesley remains missing. If you have information about Wesley’s whereabouts, please contact 911 or the Abbotsford Police Department in British Columbia, Canada, at 1-604-859-5225, or text 222973, referencing file #2024-16272. • A Closer Look with Eric Winter: Updates on the Suzanne Simpson and Gavin Anderson Murders
    2025/04/22

Jonathan welcomes Eric Winter back to the show to catch him up on the Suzanne Simpson and Gavin Anderson cases. Jonathan sketches out a general timeline for both of these crimes, then details how both cases have developed since 2024. Finally, Eric and Jonathan discuss some of the outstanding questions still swirling around both these tragic murders.

If you want a refresher on the cases discussed on today’s episode, you can relisten to our episode with Chandler Simpson HERE.

Our previous update episode featuring Kate Casey, which also touches on the Suzanne Simpson case, is HERE.

And finally, Jonathan’s reading with Mike and Shannon Anderson can be found HERE.

Remember, if you want to connect with Jonathan, follow @jonathanmarkmedium on Instagram and send him a DM, or drop us an email via connectjonathanmark@gmail.com.

CORRECTION: In this interview, Jonathan misspoke about some of the details of the Gavin Anderson case. Specifically, Gavin's family did sign paperwork consenting to a cremation, but only did so because they were under the impression that an autopsy had already been performed. Additionally, his death was ruled positional asphyxia, not an overdose, though investigators made clear they suspected drug use due to the positional asphyxia. Thank you to the helpful and investigative listener that is helping us keep this confusing and evolving case straight!
