Can Sin Be My Identity with guest: R.C. Sproul Jr.

  • サマリー

  • Many Christians struggle in the Christian life as it relates to their past sins prior to conversion following them into their Christian walk. Additionally, many Christians believe that when they repent they must continue to "act" or "live" a certain way that demonstrates they still feel guilty over their sin.

This is when sin becomes the identity for so many individuals as they allow the past sin to dominate their current walk. When we sin we feel guilty over our sin, but that is meant to lead us to repentance. Upon repentance, we move on, because Christ has forgiven us, and we should fight against returning back to that sin. However, we must not allow that sin that we have confessed and repented of to come back to dictate our thoughts and actions.

In this episode, I am joined by theologian R.C. Sproul as we discuss this issue that many are dealing with. In this episode, I reference one of R.C.'s blog articles that gave us the subject in dealing with this topic which you can find here.
