In 2008, he opened Urbanbelly in Chicago's Wicker Park Neighborhood. He's the author of “Korean BBQ: Master Your Grill in Seven Sauces,” which earned a James Beard finalist nomination. Recently, Chef Kim and his restaurant team launched four new eateries in Seoul, South Korea and is widely know as a generous, community focused chef who brings people together with his approach to tasty bold meals rich in tradition.
