Those nations are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. In Brunei and Cambodia, officials prohibit Christians from sharing their faith. Burma’s military often targets Christians with violence. Believers face blasphemy charges in Malaysia and Indonesia for criticizing Islam. And authorities in Laos and Vietnam try to force Christians to renounce their faith. There are also at least 45 Christians who are missing, detained, or imprisoned across Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
