She graduated from Creative Writing ArtEZin 2016 with a collection of poems and letters called hoe de eerste vonken zichtbaar waren (how the first sparks became visible), which was awarded the Poëziedebuutprijs aan Zee in 2018 and the Charlotte Köhler Stipendium in 2019. Her debut novel Confrontaties (2020) was nominated for the Libris Literatuurprijs and the Bronzen Uil Debuutprijs and won the Hebban Literatuurprijs and the Beste Boekvoor Jongeren Prijs.
