In this season of tremendous change and joyful anticipation in the good fight, there are still a few details to work out and, obviously, not all of them are pleasant.

You may be one of those wondering, how on earth there could still exist hearts so blinded to the truth that they not rejoice in the triumph God has given us?

How could they not see what is best for this country?

And why, oh why, are people still watching main stream news outlets for false, fear-provoking information?

It's astounding to me the media is still at it. It's astounding to me people are still believing what they say. No wonder a segment of the populace is all worked up.

Sigh.

We still have an enemy releasing poisonous vapors of deception which fog lenses of discernment.

Peace comes with love.

It has always been about the love. We must love the planet back to life!

Love those who are thrilled. Love those who aren't.

And speak loudly and boldly. With love.

We have called upon the Lord God and He has delivered us. Now, we shall glorify Him. Psalm 50:15

Is your lack of knowledge destroying you?

Our God tells us, "My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge." ~ Hosea 4:6

Interesting how that verse has not been highlighted in most churches. Not really.

More interesting is how that same verse is now being explored as if we are just seeing it for the first time. It is being celebrated in this time, as if it is a tickertape feed running through our minds, a lighted marquis flickering and buzzing in our dark nights, illuminating our paths.

Because right now God's people are coming into a full understanding of what it means to be fully informed. And what it looks like to wage war. We are beginning to fully process what practical application looks like--what is necessary to not only deal with a very real enemy, but to crush him for complete removal from our Savior's plans for our life.

Like ants at a picnic, a contrivance at best, or as scripture puts it, a lion roaring about looking to devour, at worst, we must deal with his attacks. We mustn't focus on the setbacks, but rather lean into the God who has power and authority over all that comes against us.

The God who gave us his own power and authority to eradicate all that comes against us by shining the light there and attacking it with his help. I think we have forgotten exactly what that looks like.

But we are awakening.

The power of God is available to us.

Because our God manifests himself to those who love him. (John 14:20)

I don't know about you but I can't even wrap my head around that. However, I have known this truth.

Today my guest Shelly Harney is back to tell us how to get into THE FLOW!

Here are some notes from the show: First, you must be a believer in Jesus for access to God. ~ John 14:6

It is Jesus who empowers us. ~ John 14:2

Jesus gave his disciples directives. ~ Matthew 10:8

As his disciples, we have his power through Holy Spirit. ~ Acts 10:38

We must believe it is God's power than enables us to do all things. ~ Mark 27

God is LOVE. ~ Matthew 22:37

We must be rooted and grounded in God's love to be filled with God! ~ Ephesians 3:16-19

The power that works in us can do his work. ~ Ephesians 3:20

And the best part, as mentioned above: He will manifest himself to those who love him.

As we focus on love, causing us sanctifying growth, more of his power comes upon us.

Power to work within our giftings, like the ability to heal and prophecy.

Wow.

Patty Teichroew grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian when she was nine years old. She remembers hearing sermons about when God would speak to Moses, Noah, Elisha, David and so many others in the Bible and she would think to herself, if God spoke to people back then, why doesn’t He speak to people now?

Because Patty grew up in the Baptist Church, the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit were not taught except that a person received the Holy Spirit upon becoming a Christian and so she had no understanding of them. It wasn’t until she went to Explo ‘72 that she received an understanding of the importance of the Holy Spirit. At the time, the gifts of the Spirit weren’t addressed but just learning that the Holy Spirit was empowering her to follow His commandments brought her so much relief and joy. At this youth gathering, she heard the Lord’s voice for the first time and that was monumental for her. When she returned home she became closer to her boyfriend whom she later married that following year. Years later she became a mother of two.

During the years of motherhood, Patty struggled as she felt incapable of fulfilling the important role of being a mom and wife and yet she so wanted to be successful so she started spending time with the Lord. It wasn’t long before she began to hear Him speak to her and He would answer my questions as how to respond to situations in her life. Hearing from the Lord didn’t come everyday but was pretty random at first. But in the last twenty years she has heard the Lord speak on a more steady basis and now He speaks to her daily. For awhile it was only about her family and then it changed to Him speaking about His Church and then the government and now so much more. Everyday now she inquires of the Lord and asks Him what is on His heart and He responds to her. Patty considers it amazing that He would speak to her everyday but His Word says that Blessed are those who hunger and thirsts for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6)
