He is currently a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Southern California, a fire service and law enforcement instructor in fire and death investigation procedures for first responders, and author of The Reality of PTSD: When Children Die.  

His book is a true story that explores the real-life effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in first responders and others associated with public safety and the medical profession.
