In episode 3 of last season, we covered a movie starring Duke Mitchell. If you heard it, you know we were not kind. For this month's episode, we apologize for some of that as we talk about a movie he wrote, directed, and starred in called Gone with the Pope.

Paul (Duke Mitchell) is hired to do a hit, and uses the money to fund his own plan to kidnap the Pope for ransom.

This movie has its issues. It gets weird and has some racist dialogue. But it was filmed in the mid-70s, so that's not too much of a surprise. What is a surprise is Duke Mitchell. He's the best actor in it. The script he wrote has a unique plot, and includes a little speech by Paul that we feel everyone needs to hear. We soak in this one solely to give Mr. Mitchell the credit he deserves.

*Edit: Duke Mitchell's son is named Jeffrey, not Jerry.*

This month we cover 24ish of our "experiences" with one movie, 1994's Bloodfist 6: Ground Zero.

A military courier must save a nuclear launch site from terrorists.

Of all the Bloodfists, we chose this one for all the things that irritate Greg. From the rabbits, to the gun use inside, to the ineptitude of the military, to the obvious copying of Die Hard, there's a lot to discuss. The tin garbage can deserves an acting credit.

Bloodfist 6: Ground Zero is available to stream on Amazon Prime, Shout Factory TV, tubi, and YouTube, and to rent or buy on Amazon.

Thank you to everyone for over 500 downloads!
Congrats to Greg on his engagement!
Thanks to anyone who watched our little film, Night of the Corpse Tub!
And we have another announcement we reveal as well!

In this episode, we talk about the 1980 movie The Children, and disclaimer, we mention quite often our feelings about children in general.

A radioactive leak turns kids into atomic zombies.

These children are much too happy while they burn their parents alive. Sheriff Billy is our favorite character. He somehow has excellent accuracy with a sword, and uses weapons on children without hesitation. We are not sorry about how much we enjoy that.

Welcome to our second "live" episode! You can tell by the sounds of the birds and puppies throughout the episode. It doesn't hinder us as we discuss 2022's "Night of the Zodiac", a movie that was filmed in Detroit.

A man is contacted by the Zodiac to be his protege.

We actually like this movie. It's bloody, funny, gross, and ridiculous. It's SOV, so it looks old, even though it isn't. It's a true homage, including cameos by Mark Polonia and Tim Ritter. It's a rare Corpse Tub experience where we honestly want you to soak with us!

Check our social media for the short film we made visiting the movie sites. Greg lives close to all of them, so we couldn't help ourselves.

Night of the Zodiac is available to stream on tubi.

For this month's episode, we are discussing a movie we swore we'd never watch again. It's 2020's Human Zoo, or The Human Zoo, according to the movie itself.
Robert Carradine plays the Producer. No one else is significant.

Contestants compete for one million dollars by living in 8x8 cells on a 24/7 livestream reality show called Solitary Confinement.

Our sole purpose for this episode is to keep people far away from this movie. Seriously. It's boring. It's pointless. At the end of it's gruelling 2 hours, it points at you and laughs at you for watching it. Even Carradine phones it in, seeming to read his lines for the first time during his 'big' scene. There is no reason to watch it, and we tell you why.

Human Zoo is available to stream on tubi.

This month we celebrate 5 years of "experiences" together! To commemorate, we go back to almost our very beginning, the second movie we ever watched together, 2015's American Poltergeist.

Five college kids move into a house with a sinister history.

This movie tries to convince us Lizzie Borden was six feet tall with red hair, and that her house is now a mansion with a pool, jacuzzi, 2 saunas, and a guest house. It also tries to be scary. It fails on all accounts.

This month we talk about 1972's Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things, which stars Alan Ormsby, who has writing credits that include Popcorn and Cat People, and is directed by Bob Clark, who directed Black Christmas and A Christmas Story. None of those facts help this movie.

A theater group goes to an island to stay the night and raise the dead.

Seriously, who signs on with a theater group who plans to raise the dead? That's the burning question through all of this, from the blood envelope to the boat sailing away. If that sentence made no sense, welcome to this movie.

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things is available to stream on PlutoTV, YouTube, AMC+, Full Moon, Plex, and to rent/buy on Amazon.

For this episode, we talk about what is probably the grossest movie we've ever seen, 1987's The Nest.

Meat eating roaches attack a small fishing village.

How gross is this movie? So much so that we say 'gross' approximately 33 times. You could make it a drinking game! We audibly squirm as we talk about roaches in a toilet tank, invading a diner, eating a chef, and appearing everywhere else possible. Roach Cat and Roach Dad are the only slight relief.
