You know, some of you have just gotten so accustomed to it, you wear it around like a badge of honor, you make peace with it, you joke about it, you buy a ticket to experience it, you make slogans out of it, but do we really understand just how dangerous and crippling fear really is and why God says in

“Oh, it’s just me, Fear”

“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

I know you remember the hit song ‘You Wanna be Startin’ Something’ by Michael Jackson. Written by Jackson, the song was said to be an attack on the tabloid press and those who hounded and tried to use and take advantage of him. These themes were evident in such lyrics as "They eat off of you, you're a vegetable." But, one day, as I was listening to this song, the Holy Spirit led me to, instead, see Jesus in the lyrics, his disciples and us as modern day followers of Christ.

“When You’re Stuck on Stupid”

According to the urban dictionary, “Stuck on stupid,” describes someone who is stuck in a cycle of endless stupidity when it comes to making decisions. As an adjective, it refers to a prolonged state of being completely clueless. When someone just doesn't get it, repeatedly; your mind draws a blank for the longest, this is also what it means to be stuck on stupid.

“When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”

In our anchor verse, we are given some insight by Jesus concerning one such characteristic of our adversary, that one thing that assures that satan is coming for you, when God has spoken a word over your life.
