  • サマリー

  • This week, Chris hikes his way through Sleeping Bear while simultaneously getting a job offer out of the blue. Sadly, his dad caught covid and was hospitalized. Nick celebrates his son's 2nd birthday and the beauty of life in general. He laments the Longhorns' loss in the CWS, mainly because it was to the Fightin' Texas Aggies. John shares in Nick's baseball grief, but likens A&M to Texas' kid brother who has to win once in a while. Meanwhile, John is wastin' away in Margaritaville with his new Jimmy Buffett margarita machine. The guys share what band they would have play at their funerals. No joke, John has additional life insurance to cover the cost of his last concert. Chris visits The Filling Station, a brewery built from an old train station. Their Kolsch, Under the Trestle, hit the spot on a warm summer day. Nick is still drinking La Verdad, but he's also digging bourbon these days. John breaks down his experience on the Austin Red Line beer train tour, highlighting Black Star's Island Baby, a tiki beer aged in rum barrels. Then he hits us with a dad joke. Today's episode is summer crushers - the sequel. They try multiple refreshing options, starting with The Champagne of Beers, Miller High Life. Try and stay cool out there this summer, but don't touch the thermostat.
