Don’t miss this eye-opening conversation about the realities of doing business in China. "we would involve with countries and banks as soon as the would get venture capital" Ken's tips about Chinese American culture to become more culturally competent: Do prepare thoroughly Don't start negotiating immediately; don't be too gullible Don't believe all the flattery Make sure you have leverage in your negotiation Make small steps There is no substitute for living in another country; it's important to spend time in that country You can't jump over your own shadow Some Americans are smart; we, as Americans, can assume the best in others unless otherwise proven.
