    Adrienne Roberson is the first female public address announcer at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, beating out over 600 candidates who auditioned for the role during the winter of 2021. Before joining the Orioles full-time Roberson spent 17 years announcing with the Bowie Baysox. Furthermore, when Roberson is not announcing baseball games she spends her time with Georgetown University Athletics announcing various sports at the collegiate level. In this episode, we talk about how we can continue to elevate women within the sports industry. Roberson also shares her strategies to being successful when announcing on game days. Lastly, we discuss how she stays organized while balancing multiple jobs within broadcasting.
