I share what it was like to keep it hidden for years to maintain control, and how I eventually realized that true healing would only come through honesty with myself.

    At 22, I made the life-changing decision to go to an intensive out-patient therapy program, confronting my harsh food and body reality and choosing to prioritize my well-being. There were a lot of transformative steps I took in my early 20s to shift from disorder to balance. From mirror work and self-talk practices to trying new approaches with food, I found great tools to shift my mindset and life.
