  • Something Horrifying Lives in the Salton Sea
    2024/11/08

Tonight, we’ll take a little trip to the former tourist attraction that is The Salton Sea.

The story behind this location is a long one to tell, and tonight’s story will cover some of it, but imagine a fading community centered around a once beautiful lake, whose shores are now marred by toxic clouds, high salinity and farming chemicals.

Not many things still live in the Salton Sea, but there is one thing you should be aware of. It stalks the shorelines around dark, and it fixes you in place with its sickly yellow stare.

This story is called Something Horrifying Lives in the Salton Sea, and was written by JLGoodwin1990

Denizens of the night, welcome to another episode of the macabre; the terrifying.

Tonight, I’ve got 4 back to back Halloween horror stories lined up for you, courtesy of Weird-Suggestion-152!

First up, we’ve got a story set in Appalachia! It’s called “In Deep Appalachia, Halloween Night Comes with Rules”.

After that, we’ll hear about a Halloween potluck gone sideways, in the story “The Year my Office’s Halloween Potluck ended in Horror”.

Then we’ll follow a young man as he is stalked on Halloween night, in “Last Halloween I was Stalked by the Devil.

And rounding out the collection we have “What I Saw on Halloween in 1998 still haunts me”, where a group of young boys learn that not every house welcomes trick or treaters.

  • 3.5 Hours of Scary Stories to Help You Sleep/Relax Tonight
    2024/10/11

Tonight, I’ll be reading you stories as you drift off to sleep, with the sound of some relaxing rain and distant, rumbling thunder.

I have prepared over two and a half hours of new stories for you, after which the rain and thunder will continue for some time, until they also slowly fade out and leave you in a deep and profoundly restful sleep.

I want to thank Justine Perry for allowing me to narrate her stories, and the late, great Clifford Simak and Carl Jacobi for giving us “The Street That Wasn’t There”. Enjoy these stories, and may you sleep happily and restfully.

Magnigame, School Photogaph, and Date Night were all written by Justine Perry.

An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge was written by Ambrose Bierce.

  • An Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge
    2024/10/08

Tonight, we’ll visit a classic story that I am ashamed to admit I had not experienced before now!

    I was hunting through horror stories in the public domain so I could compile a long horror video for sleep for you! I began to read this story in a more measured, compressed delivery so that it would not disturb your rest, but soon found myself, much like our protagonist, getting SWEPT UP in the action! For many of you this story will require no introduction, and I dare not spoil the twists and turns the story takes here. So without further introduction;
