Donna's life began in the shadow of adversity, as her family fled the brutal "Anfal" ethnic-cleansing campaign in the late 1980s, during one of the darkest chapters in Kurdish history. Arriving in Australia as a teenager, Donna embarked on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. She not only redefined her name but also her destiny. She is a refugee advocate, a lawyer, a teacher, an aspiring writer, an entrepreneur and a CEO. 

In our episode, we will delve into Donna's path from being a refugee to Lawyer, as she continues to seek opportunities to change the narrative on racial discrimination in local and international policies. She is also using her work to create a positive impact in society by using fashion as her tool to promote social justice and empower the next generation by creating cruelty free, vegan, ethical and sustainable designer bags.
