This week on In Focus, Adam and Joe talk through their favorite camera settings for landscape and architecture photography. While each situation is different - from time of year, sun position, interior lights, etc - these base settings can give you a great starting point to set you up for success whether you are out in the field photographing a mountain sunset, stars in the sky, or the interior of a building. --- References: Landscape - Aperture Priority Native Base ISO AF-S Focus Area: Single Point Focus (point) Multi/Matrix/Evaluative (camera brand variances) Auto-White Balance or Sunny RAW F/10 Wildlife - Manual Mode Auto ISO (set to a minimum shutter speed of 1/250 sec and maxing out at 5000 ISO) AF-C (continuous) Focus Area: Zone Auto-White Balance or Sunny RAW F/4 1/1000 Astro/Night Sky - Manual Mode ISO 1600 AF-S until dark and then Manual Focus Focus Area: Single Point Focus (point) Multi/Matrix/Evaluative (camera brand variances) Auto-White Balance or Sunny RAW F/2.8 (or largest aperture your lens has) 10 seconds Interior Architecture / Real Estate - Manual Mode ISO 100 Manual Focus Auto-White Balance RAW F/8 1/4 second (for a shot with people) Exterior Architecture / Real Estate - Manual Mode ISO 100 Manual Focus Auto-White Balance RAW F/10 1/4 second (for a shot with people) Link to Joe's website to download my free e-book which has several chapters dedicated to success: www.JosephRoybal.com --- Follow In Focus Videocast : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL0M_mz3jrmtYwhev8ACb7Q (YouTube) https://www.instagram.com/infocusvideocast/ (Instagram) Email us at: infocusvideocast@gmail.com For more information on Adam Goldberg's work, visit https://www.agoldbergphoto.com To see more of Joseph Roybal's work, head to https://www.josephroybal.com
