Former Everton and England defender Rachel Unitt is footballing royalty and helped shape the women's game into what we see today during her glittering career.
Rachel speaks to The Scouse Code about her life, career and how her time on Merseyside has shaped her life - both on and off the pitch.
She was born and raised in Walsall, West Midlands, and after 8 years at Everton (2000-01 & 2004-2011) Unitt is regarded as an adopted scouser - winning an FA Cup and League Cup with the club.
After gaining 102 caps for her country and becoming an icon for the Lionesses, Rachel hung up her boots and has now become a firefighter - a dream job she craved since being a child.
Unitt even put a fire out during the podcast recording - which caused panic in The Scouse Code team! Rachel was as cool as they come!
The Blues legend was speaking to Olympic Taekwondo medallist Bianca Cook and former BBC Sports reporter Paul Garrity at Hanley Fire Station in Staffordshire.
