  • Jenna Stone
    2021/07/20

Stone’s story begins at her birth. Yawn, right? Because “ordinary” people are born every single day, but Stone is no ordinary person. Stone’s mother, a direct descendent of Pocahontas, gave birth on International Ninja Day (cue epic into music).

    Stone is a warrior.
    This is her birthright.

A speaker, author, teacher & host, Stone is no stranger to captivating audiences around the globe with her eloquence, charm, and captivating intelligent commentary on everything from Science to the Supernatural.

Don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of Stone at a chic and trendy whos-who cocktail party surrounded by celebrities hanging on her every word, in a coffeeshop contently sipping ice-coffee on a hot Arizona Sunday afternoon shooting the breeze with the locals or keynote speaking at a conference or book launch.

Today Gregg and I are talking to the author David Crow, writer of the memoir a Pale Faced Lie. This book caught Gregg’s eye in the bookstore and once he opened it he couldn’t put it down. Gregg shared it with me and we knew we had to speak with him.

David Crow is the author of the award-winning memoirThe Pale-Faced Lie, a brutal story about family, survival, and the healing power of forgiveness.

David spent his early years on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona and New Mexico. Through grit, resilience, and a thirst for learning, he managed to escape his abusive childhood, graduate from college, and build a successful lobbying firm in Washington, DC.

Throughout the years, he has mentored over 200 college interns, performed pro bono service for the charitable organization Save the Children, and participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. An advocate for women, he is donating a percentage of his royalties from The Pale-Faced Lie to the Barrett House, a homeless shelter for women in Albuquerque. David and his wife, Patty, live in the suburbs of DC.
