Ep. 1 - Jim McCoy (Heli-Pilot/Ariel Cinematographer/Business Owner)

  • サマリー

  • In our first episode of Chopper Chats, we sit down with Steve’s long-time best friend, businessman, pilot, and hangar-mate Jim McCoy. Jim grew up in San Diego and has started many large-scale businesses including the biggest watersport rental group in Southern California. He discovered his passion for helicopters through Steve almost 17 years ago and is now juggling multiple full-time ventures on land, sea, and air. He is also known as one of the leading experts on stabilized aerial camera systems like Cineflex and Shotover, where he has logged hundreds of hours for clients like Red Bull, Monster, and much more. This show is really just our team exploring the networks of people that seem to have figured out an operating system for themselves that has allowed them to achieve things in their life like financial freedom, professional networks, work-life balance, and how becoming involved in aviation has rewired their brain for success. Learning to fly any type of aircraft requires a lot of work, money, and most importantly, time. But flying a helicopter requires even more of those three important things.
