Ep 117: Information Overload!

  • サマリー

  • With easy access to so much information today, sky's the limit to almost anything we want to know. Concurrently, the access is often overwhelming and can be more harmful than helpful. Opinions are misunderstood as facts. Information is taken out of context. Discernment becomes shaky. Are we using information responsibly? How are we showing up when we are wrong about a topic? Our ability to think independently, practice due diligence, and stay open to other perspectives is more critical than ever. Easy access to information devalues the need to hold it in your head Now we need to know a little about a lot of things for relatability Curiosity leads to expansion of knowledge naturally Willingness to change your opinions We need to constantly be thinking for ourselves We need to be clear on how we want to use information It’s not the information itself, but what we’re making it mean ------------------------- CONNECT WITH JEFF: Website: https://jeffmillercoaching.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffmillercoaching/ IG: @jeffmillercoaching FB: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.miller.7965 Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/jeffmillercoaching CONNECT WITH TATSU: Website: https://tatsuyafushimi.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tatsuyafushimi/ IG: @tatsuyafushimi FB: https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.fushimi.9/ Books: https://www.amazon.com/author/tatsuyafushimi
