My guests on Heart to Heart today is my Co host for this Episode - Jason Albrecht and guest author and photographer David Martinelli. David shares some of his journey of struggling with abandonment after his father left which resulted in subsequent emerging anger issues as he became an adult. His vulnerability and honesty are powerful and raw.
My honest belief is that this is an issue that has plagued our past and current generations and people are desperate for help and answers.
David is also the author of a book called Ordinary Men. This book honours 50 men by photographing and sharing a short testimonial of each of these men who unknowingly or knowingly helped to shape his life by giving love, encourage and teaching him throughout his journey up to today. This beautiful testament should inspires us to see the needs of other, especially young men. There is such a need for them to be challenged, encouraged and modelled what it looks like to be a father and friend.
My prayer is that you will be moved to care for those who desperately need to know the father’s love.
