Hunter Dewache
Hunter Dewache (he / him) is a 2-Spirit Anishinabe (Algonquin) multimedia artist and communications consultant from Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg. His practice consists of creating interventions between what is viewed as traditional and what is modern. He has worked within and outside of his community to increase the visual presence of the Algonquin / 2-Spirit identity in varied spaces. When creating digital illustrations, logos, videos and other forms of media, he aims to strengthen relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
