Welcome to episode one of Stories from the Misty Tavern: Warriors of Good Chaos! You will meet a group of mysterious patrons trapped in a tavern surrounded by enchanted mist. With nothing to do, the group decides to tell a story to keep a new arrival calm and occupied and to pass the time.
The story starts in a rugged tavern on the outskirts of Barovia. Our heroes include 'Finn', 'Gnus', and 'Tard' - the three remaining members of a group of adventurers called the Warriors of Good Chaos, and two strangers - a human named 'Crail' and a halfling named 'Cedric'. The Warriors of Good Chaos members, having been out of adventuring for six years after getting flung into the past and separated from their friends, are quite down on their luck and are falling apart with their missing friends. As a last resort, they decided to go to Barovia to try and find some clues as to what happened to their friends and how to get home. Our story begins as Crail and Cedric overhear the Warriors of Good Chaos making plans to travel to Barovia.
‘Stories From the Misty Tavern’ features the tales of a motley team of adventurers from across the forgotten realms, who have joined forces in friendship as the ‘Warriors of Good Chaos’. Join our quirky, wholesome, mischief-loving adventurers as they take on the demiplane of Barovia, finding humor amid fear, light in times of darkness, and proving time and again the power of friendship over adversity.
