Welcome back and thanks again for tuning into the Wonders of Women episode 10 with April Werner.  She is currently finishing her Masters in School Psychology and has just recently completed a year long fellowship where she has learned leadership skills to advocate for individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities. I wanted to discuss with her the early signs of Autism in childhood and what the scope of a school Psychologist is. I found this so informational. I think all parents should know about what resources they have and how we can better support our students in all aspects of mental health.

I loved having April on, she is my best friend from high school and there is so many other topics we can discuss too with the life experience she has. God has definitely kept us connected closely as we both grew up in Utah and ended up here in Houston! However, for this episode we focused on what support a School Psychologist provides all schools (K-12) and focused on Autism.
