He has a passion for high-performance sport and is one of South Africa’s most widely recognised coaches. He is a Runners World Columnist and has led teams to the London and Rio Olympic Games, as well as the Edinburgh and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

He has coached both triathletes and runners onto podiums of some of the world’s most illustrious races, and thrives on coaching, motivating and inspiring others to do the same – whether it’s on the track, on stage or behind a mic. He is a 2:45 marathoner and a New Balance brand ambassador. He is the official Comrades Marathon Coach.
