My guest today is Samantha Clarke, happiness consultant, TEDx & Keynote Speaker & author of Love It or Leave It - How to be Happy at work. Sam is super passionate about improving people's happiness and helping them to make decisions about what they love and want to do more of and what they want to leave behind. We had a lovely phone chat earlier in lockdown, which I've found so useful myself to listen back to. Apologies in advance for my audio (back to my mic rather than my AirPods next time!) it's a little crackly but luckily Sam sounds great! We spoke about some topics that are particularly relevant at this time, where many people are reflecting on their work and may be experiencing flux or standstill in their careers. We discussed finding happiness in your work and life and doing an audit of what you want, listening to your inner voice and Sam shared advice to deal with envy and comparison. Sam I think has broken the record for the number of women she wanted to mention, nominate and shine a light on, I loved hearing about all the incredible women in her life (Natalie Campbell - CEO of Belu Water, Irene Moore - StartUp Mentor, Emma Gannon - author, podcaster and multi-hyphenate, Petra Velzeboer - Mental Health Advocate, Davinia Tomlinson - founder of Rainchq, Marielle Legair - Publicity and Brand Strategist, Adrienne Herbert - Wellness podcaster, author and speaker, Vanessa Belleau - Founder & Director of High Fifteen Limited and Emma Sexton - Design Entrepreneur, Creative Strategist and Business Coach!). I hope you enjoy this episode, please subscribe wherever you get your podcasts and if you could please leave a rating and review, this all helps to get more people to hear the Who's Next stories.
