Episode 28: “ They call me Mr. Hip-Hop (part 2)”

  • サマリー

    • The fellas are back with part 2 of their ode to hip-hop and its affects on education. So while Nagi is away at a Spartan event the microphone fiend himself Yoshi aka YUSEF IN THE BUILDING! steps in to help the fellas keep their heads ringing. The show starts with the warm-up and another test of hip-hop knowledge. Next, after the announcements the guys take time to salute Fannie Lou Hamer for her contributions Civil Rights and Woman’s History. Part 2 of the academic discussion on the influence of hip-hop in education has the fellas kicking the conversation sideways and straightways as they roc the mic right and let you know how they feel. After the dust settles and the conversation is done the crew heads over to the teacher’s lounge for a confession that has our guy Jeff feeling like public enemy #1! The data dig gives us the numbers around the Ja Morant story and whether or not hip-hop is to blame. For the SEL moment the crew delivers “the message” to remind us that the road to success is always under construction. Special thanks Yoshi aka Yusef in the building! For stopping through.
