From humble beginnings, Franco Fonte migrated to Australia from Italy as a young man, who could not speak a word of English. Franco knew from a young age that he was different and followed his dreams to a foreign country to make a better life for himself and his family.

Franco and his wife Auroa started a small cleaning company, as new parents, their perfectionistic work ethic, would shape their destiny from a small company into one of Australia’s most successful businesses.

Neither of the Fonte’s went to university, however, like most entrepreneurs, they threw themselves into self-education, attending seminars, conferences and connecting with the works of Tony Robbins, who Franco did security work for during Tony’s seminars; and had access to all the behind the scenes activity. 

As director of Assetlink, that was founded in 1993 and is a company that now employs over 3,000 people; Franco reflects on the hard work, grit, and determination it took and still takes to excel in life and create an extraordinary lifestyle and reputation.
