Marta Russo was a 22 year old young woman, and a second year law student at La Sapienza University in Italy's capital city of Rome. She became the victim of one of Italy’s most controversial crimes when she was was shot and killed in broad daylight by an unseen perpetrator while walking to class on campus in 1997.
