このコンテンツについて
“All things happen to oneself, and happen precisely, precisely now”.
These words, written by the great Argentine author, Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986), appear in his short story, The Garden of Forking Paths.
Labyrinthine, dense, esoteric, and yet, at all times, wonderfully eloquent and readable, Borges gives us a lot to think about.
This episode addresses two themes–both vital to our everyday life–around which many of his fantastic stories revolve:
Identity and time.
I’m curious to know…
Does this episode resonate with you?
Is it too academic?
Too arcane?
Not practical enough?
In what ways can it be improved?
Please let me know by commenting or sending me a message: pneuma.finneran@gmail.com.
I’m eager to read your thoughts.
As always, thanks for listening!
