The 2023 F1 season has been fairly quiet, on and off the track. However, recent news suggested that Lewis Hamilton could be leaving Mercedes for greener pastures. Is it possible? While Lewis might or might not be on the move, several other drivers could be facing the hot seat as their performances are not producing grand results. The Formula 1 paddock were feeling the Miami vibes this past weekend. It was the first of three visits this season for F1 to the states and the anticipation was high. The attendance was higher than 2022 debunking any thoughts of a declining interest in F1 in America. The track had a new surface, and many teams were coming off upgrades in hopes of boosting themselves up the grid. Who would come out on top? After a month layoff, the F1 teams took to the track of Baku for the 2023 F1 Azerbaijan GP. This marked the first sprint race weekend of the year and big changes were introduced the week leading up to the race weekend. During the show, Patrick and Steven discuss the format changes and what did and did not work, in our opinion of course. Also, has racing in Baku run its course? Two straight races where the racing on track amounted to very little, it is time for a new track? And lastly, is the championship all but decided for Red Bull? Tune in to find out!

As the Formula 1 world went down under, rumors were swirling about a former F1 driver that could make a comeback in 2024. Or is it possible that a return in 2023 is possible? Also, McLaren continues to struggle on the track and leading up to the Australian GP, a few leadership changes occurred. Is this good for the team or are there more things going on behind the scenes? 

The 2023 Australian GP will certainly be remembered, but maybe not for the on-track action and left a lot of people seeing red. Why were there so many red flags? Has this happened before? And why was Carlos the one that took the brunt of lap 56 leaving him out of the points?

This past Sunday, all the Formula 1 eyes were focused on Saudi Arabia. Leading up to the race, news was swirling about Lewis Hamilton as he split from his long-time physio. In addition, his thoughts on the car and George’s thoughts on the car differ wildly. What does the future hold for Lewis and is he heading towards retirement at the end of the year?  

As far as the race, it was status quo heading into qualifying until Max Verstappen encountered an issue dropping him to 15th. Checo grabs the pole with Alonso riding shotgun. Alonso was off to a great start at the beginning of the race but would suffer a penalty for lining up outside his box, which brought more problems later. Max was storming through the field as Checo was out for an easy Sunday drive. As the race ended, Alonso was given a 10 second penalty, which was later rescinded. How should these penalties be given? In race or after and who is making those calls?

For the final race of the 2022 season, Formula 1 returned to Abu Dhabi to race under the lights.
