Wes Walz is a former Canadian professional ice hockey centre and coach. He was captain of the Minnesota Wild. He also played for the Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames, and Detroit Red Wings. Today, Walz performs Play-by-Play and commentary for the Minnesota Wild.

Jesper Wallstedt is a Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League as a prospect to the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League. Wallstedt was drafted by the Wild in the first round, 20th overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Dean Evason is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously served as head coach of the Minnesota Wild. Evason was selected by the Washington Capitals in the fifth round (89th overall) of the 1982 NHL entry draft. He played for five NHL Teams in his Professional playing career.

Bob Motzko is a the head coach of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.

He was previously the head coach of the St. Cloud State Huskies. During his time at SCSU, he was named the WCHA Coach of the Year in 2006 and 2007. He guided the Huskies to six WCHA Final Five appearances, three NCHC Frozen Faceoff appearances, eight NCAA Division I tournament appearances and one NCAA Division I Frozen Four appearance in 2013.
