Mayor Sean Wilson delivers the weekly Waynesville update covering recent events, important initiatives, and upcoming activities for the community. The mayor encourages citizens to download the City app to receive important updates and emergency notifications without social media.

• City app download initiative aims to reach 2,000 citizens by year-end
• Firework regulations permit discharge June 3-5 from 8am-10pm on private property with permission
• Children under 14 must have supervision from someone 21+ when using fireworks
• Upcoming events include city council meeting (June 26), PTSD Awareness Walk and Skate on the Square (June 27)
• 4th of July celebration at Fort Leonard Wood features headliner Kanan Smith
• City offices closed July 4th but trash will still be collected
• Reminder to stay hydrated, check on elderly neighbors, and keep pets safe during extreme heat
