あらすじ・解説
We sometimes take the subject of forgiveness for granted. It is an incredible grace of God. It cost Him so that we could be forgiven. We have to esteem forgiveness. We cannot take lightly the sufferings of Christ that enabled this gift of forgiveness to all who believe upon Him. Without forgiveness we are not saved. When we're talking about forgiveness, we cannot help but know that forgiveness and repentance are bound together with God's cords of love.
Jesus willingly bore the greatest sacrifice, so that we might be blessed with his life. How can we ever understand such an incredible expression of love? What love can ever compete with this sacrificial love of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? This matter of forgiveness is so beautiful, but yet so profound, and so serious, how can we ever know the depth of such a love that was revealed to the world. A love that burned with a passion for the world that lived in sin and it lost intimacy with God, forgiveness has opened the door for us to be intimate with God. God has demonstrated his love for the whole world. While all the whole world were yet sinners, a world that had sinned against God. He demonstrated His love by providing forgiveness, by the way of the blood of His cross.
The wages of sin is death, but God's love. God's love is so amazing, so kind, so saturated with compassion and mercy and grace, that he provided that which man could not provide for himself. God has signed a signature that you belong to Him. God has given a seal - He stamped your life, divinely with the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit in us that is the seal that we belong to God. That came by the way of forgiveness.
