On this week's episode, the guys go to the year of 1966 to examine the debut studio album by The Mothers of Invention called Freak Out!. This album is often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums. The band takes a satirical approach in this record talking about the American landscape at the time. Blending elements of 70s rock, doo wop and free form rock, this album helped launch the band and it's leader Frank Zappa into an extensive career that has gotten many fans over the years.
