  • Amelia Peterson is a founding member of the London Interdisciplinary School, an institution that unites undergraduates, graduates, and professionals in addressing intricate, real world challenges. The Times calls it “the most radical new university to open in decades” as it harnesses knowledge and expertise from diverse disciplines, to unravel the complexities of global issues.
    In 2021, Amelia co-authored book Thrive: The Purpose of Schools in a Changing World and is currently working on a book about the potential for a social contract for education that does not rely on the idea of meritocracy. Amelia was a fellow in the Social Policy department at the London School of Economics. Amelia completed her PhD in Education Policy and Program Evaluation in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Amelia was a fellow in the Inequality and Social Policy program at Harvard, a multidisciplinary program which selects students from across the social science departments.
