    Even though the industry is seeing a similar contraction of transactions as the real estate market did in 2008, the amount of agents has stayed relatively flat and even slowly increasing.

    It's remarkable when you consider that transaction count is down 30-70% in many markets across the United States.

    John explores all the ways the industry has changed since 2008-2012 when agent count bottomed out at under 1.0 million licensed real estate agents. More importantly, he covers why those changes are leading to agent counting staying high.
