  • 3 Keys to Improving Your Friendships
    2024/11/11

We have all been there - wanting community and desiring deep authentic relationships. We were created for a relationship with Jesus but also with others. Many of us know we want lasting Christ-centered friendships but don’t always know how to get there. How do we build better friendships in our lives? How do we pursue others intentionally while also navigating our 9-5? How can we be a better friend so we can build better friendships?

In this episode, we discuss three ways to build better friendships. We start by answering some of your questions about navigating community as young adults. We also look at the life of David and the friendships he had. Many of us can relate to the desire for community. But building the life we want starts with us! We must become the friend we would want. We must see the best in others (Samuel). We must be the ones to show up in every season (Jonathan). And we must not shy away from speaking the truth in love to those we call friends (Nathan). Enjoy this episode!

  • How to Navigate the Election
    2024/10/28

The 2024 Presidential Election is upon us. An election year stirs up all sorts of emotions and reactions; including fear, anger, annoyance, excitement, and indifference. The question is: How should a Christian navigate an election? What is our responsibility? What are we called to do? How are we supposed to behave towards those we disagree with? These are all the questions that surface during an election.

In this episode, we discuss the Christian's call to PRAY. We will share 10 Strategic Prayers to Pray Over the Election. The reality is, although we can play a role in the outcome of an election, we cannot control the results or the aftermath. We must remember that regardless of who is in the White House, God is on his throne. We must remain focused on our mission to share the GOOD NEWS with everyone - even those we disagree with. We must allow God to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, not allowing the election results or the cultural conversation to lead us into fear, anxiety, anger, hate, or doubt. We'd love to hear your takeaways and feel free to share how you are praying during this election!
