Why should a Podcast Host introduce himself/herself in each episode?

I think that the host of a podcast should introduce him or herself in each episode to let the listener know who they are talking to. This is one way of developing a relationship with your listeners.  This is also important because it gives that human connection to what you are saying.

To let your listener know who they are talking to in each episode, the host can introduce himself or herself at the suitable point of the conversation, and that way listeners will have a face with which they associate each podcast.

You could cool down a little bit about yourself, your interests, and so on.

It is important to select the right spot for your introduction. If you put it at the wrong time, then it will be distracting and won't work well as an introduction.
