  • Meat The Mind: New Hope For Autism with Anthony Chaffee MD
    2023/04/18

P.S Everyone has their right to their own opinion, it’s a free world! I welcome debates. If you don’t like controversial topics, then you are welcome to give this episode a miss :-)

Welcome to Happy-Go-Lucky At Heart, in this episode we explore the connection between diet and mental health. we'll be discussing the potential benefits of a carnivore lifestyle for those with autism. Our guest today is Dr. Anthony Chaffee , a leading researcher in the field of autism and carnivore.

    Carnivore Vs Vegan Environmental Factors:

    • Carnivore has less impact on the environment compared to Veganism. With a Vegan lifestyle, you reply heavily on imported fruit and vegetables. You can’t shop local without being vastly deficient which Vegan is a deficient anyway and  most Vegan take a supplement of some sort. Carnivore However, you can shop local for Meat. This cuts back on air miles and less tractor emissions. Do you really think big John Deer Tractors are capable of going electric? It takes cars 8hours to charge just imagine a tractor.
    • Vegan choices we want cows to be gone and be replaced with chemicals, processed foods and carbs and sugar, in this episode we talk about the plants defense againest  animals.
    • With the Vegan choice, we want to get rid of cows and replace them with artificial chemicals, processed foods and carbs. Cows have been roaming the earth much before humans so it’s hard to make sense that we making a “natural world.” Cows are part of the natural environment.

The Science Behind a Carnivore Lifestyle

    • Dr. Anthony breaks down the science behind a carnivore lifestyle and its potential impact on the brain and body.
    • He discusses the benefits of a high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet (keto and carnivore) for those with autism and neurotypical people and how it can improve mental clarity and focus, new research explains how fat is good for you.
    • He explains how a carnivore lifestyle can also benefit those with epilepsy and metabolic conditions.

    “We Love Animals!”

    • Vegan/Vegetarian Myth: you save animals. In fact, you kill more animals…
    • With more demand on ploughing land to grow fruit and vegetables. We are destroying habitats of wildlife. Just think in 50yrs time when almost all the population goes Vegan. Wildlife will be at an extinct level. With being Vegan you are killing animals without knowing.

  • Lifting Voices: Celebrating Black Women Power in Honour of Black History Month
    2023/02/01

In this episode of Happy-Go-Lucky At Heart, we are celebrating Black women power in honour of Black History Month (USA). This month is dedicated to remembering and recognising the achievements, struggles, and contributions of African Americans throughout history.

Why is it important to celebrate Black women power?

It is important to celebrate Black women power because it recognises and honours the contributions, struggles, and achievements of Black women throughout history and today. Celebrating Black women power sheds light on their important role in shaping society and fighting for equality and justice. It also serves as a way to empower and uplift everybody, inspiring them to continue leading and making a positive impact. Moreover, it helps to challenge and break down harmful stereotypes and prejudices about Black women and to promote inclusivity and diversity. Overall, celebrating Black women power helps to build a more equitable and just world for all.

The importance of uplifting and supporting Black women's voices?

In short, uplifting and supporting Black women's voices is important because it promotes diversity and inclusivity, acknowledges and addresses systemic inequalities, empowers Black women, and improves outcomes. By making a conscious effort to uplift and support Black women's voices, we can help to create a more just and equal society for all.

Harriet Tubman: A legendary figure in American history who escaped slavery and went on to helping hundreds of enslaved people reach freedom.

Mary Prince's legacy continues to inspire and inform, reminding us of the importance of fighting for justice and equality for all. Her story is a testament to the power of the human spirit and a reminder that no matter the obstacles we face, with determination and courage, we can overcome adversity and achieve great things.

Josephine Baker was not only a talented performer, but also a fearless and tireless advocate for civil rights. She was a strong supporter of the Civil Rights Movement and used her influence to help raise awareness and support for the cause. She was a close friend and associate of many of the leading figures of the movement, including Martin Luther King Jr., and was a constant presence at rallies and demonstrations, speaking out against discrimination and segregation.
