  • 191. Cancer Survivor with Michelle Patidar
    2024/11/18

In this episode, we welcome Michelle Padar, a certified Integrative Nutrition health coach and cancer survivor. Michelle shares her remarkable story of resilience and healing after facing cancer at just 32. She opens up about the challenges of rebuilding life post-treatment, where the support system fades and survivors are left navigating complex recovery paths. Michelle reveals how her battle with cancer was only the beginning—a journey that taught her invaluable lessons about mind, body, and spirit healing. Hear how Michelle transformed her life from a cancer caregiver for her mother to a survivor advocating for a holistic recovery approach, offering hope and guidance for others in their healing journey.

    About Michelle:

Cancer survivor, wife, mother, and lifelong learner Michelle Patidar gives cancer survivors the tools they need to heal themselves from the inside out. In 2016, at the age of 32, Michelle was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and after six rounds of inpatient chemotherapy she was on a mission to heal the wounds of treatment. In response to the absence of programs that were available to help her detox and rebuild her health and immunity, she founded Revival Health & Wellness.

To help others, Michelle evaluated areas of a patient’s WHOLEhealth that are often overlooked by traditional medicine and created programs designed to be tailored to one's bioindividual make-up. She leads those looking for answers on an integrative process by working with their medical doctors to address the root cause of current health issues, improve different aspects of their lives, and address nutritional concerns through one-on-one consulting.

  • 186. Stop Bullying Yourself (Part 3 & 4)
    2024/10/14

In this episode, we explore Part 3 of the *Stop Bullying Yourself* series: reflection and learning from your past to own your future. This chapter is about recognizing how we often stay stuck in a victim mentality, blaming our past, circumstances, or others for our struggles. But it also offers a way out—how we can choose to take personal responsibility and reclaim our power by learning from those experiences.

We discuss the importance of shifting from a blame mindset to one that extracts value from the tough times. Using the “Value Gain Exercise,” we look at how traumatic or difficult situations can offer powerful lessons, helping us grow and make better choices moving forward. By reflecting on personal experiences—like failed relationships or professional setbacks—we can begin to see patterns and start making decisions that align more with our values and self-worth.

Through this discussion, we focus on how our past doesn't define us but can empower us to create a more fulfilling future. This episode encourages listeners to move away from self-sabotage and embrace the lessons from their past as stepping stones to a better, more self-aware life.

  • 185. Stop Bullying Yourself (Part 2)
    2024/10/07

In this episode, we dive into part 2 of Stop Bullying Yourself series: happiness, and success, focusing on the inner bully—the voice in your head that both motivates you and sabotages your ability to enjoy success. This chapter highlights how we often give that voice too much attention and power, but also how we can choose to think and act differently. We discuss the importance of holistic health over a reductionist approach, drawing inspiration from the concept of systems thinking. Using the “Happy Holistic Matrix,” we examine the balance of all aspects of life—relationships, spiritual health, hobbies—and reflect on personal experiences, like realizing how work-life imbalance can affect well-being. Through this discussion, we emphasize the need to reconnect, become aware of the bigger picture, and prioritize the important areas of life that often get neglected.

  • 184. Stop Bullying Yourself (Part 1)
    2024/09/30

What exactly is this inner voice that criticizes and holds us back, even when we achieve success? It’s the voice that tells us we’re not good enough, that we need to keep pushing harder, and that our efforts will never be enough.

In this episode, I take a deep dive into the origins and behaviors of the inner bully, how it shapes our mindset, and why it often gets louder when we should be celebrating our accomplishments. You'll also learn about the Trashcan Activity—a hands-on exercise from my book, Stop Bullying Yourself, that allows you to physically and mentally release toxic thoughts, habits, and even relationships. This simple, yet powerful activity helps create a shift by combining a strong intention with a physical action to let go of what's no longer serving you.
