With a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia, Tasniya embarked on her professional journey in teaching, discovering her true calling as she immersed herself in several Sunday schools and founded youth groups tailored to Muslim children and their families. This initial foray into education ignited her passion and set her on a path of lifelong learning and service.
In 2015, Tasniya deepened her expertise by earning her Master's degree in Elementary Montessori Education, marking the beginning of her impactful career as she guided upper elementary children in local Montessori schools.
Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, she expanded her horizons further in 2020, obtaining a second Montessori certification in Primary Montessori, and assuming the role of a lead Primary Montessori teacher in a local school.
The turning point came in 2023 when Tasniya embraced homeschooling for her own son, recognizing the unique opportunity to tailor education to individual needs. Fueled by her belief in the power of personalized learning experiences, she opened a part-time homeschooling pod in her home, extending her expertise to support other homeschooling families in theireducational journey.
Tasniya's commitment to holistic child development extends beyond the classroom walls. As a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, she empowers parents with invaluable tools and insights, facilitating transformative workshops both online and in person. Her love for Allah serves as the foundation for her approach. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in compassion and mindfulness, fostering stronger bonds within families and nurturing a generation of empathetic, resilient individuals.
