In this episode, we will discuss some factors that might help you to decide when it’s time to quit.
I don’t consider myself a quitter, but once in a while, you need to know when to “throw in the towel”. Sometimes it’s not feasible to continue what you are doing at your own detriment.
What are some reasons you might choose to quit?
1. You are just plain tired. You have exhausted your time and energy and you find that what you are doing is draining you. You don’t feel like you can continue.
2. You are not seeing the results you want. Sometimes things feel like an exercise in futility. No matter how much you put into a project, you feel like the needle is not progressing and the project feels endless.
3. Your project no longer serves its purpose. Sometimes you might begin a project with one intention, but get sidetracked or lose your focus. Once your purpose is no longer there, it may not make sense to continue with the project. It may be time to refocus, or perhaps stop all together.
Some reasons you may choose to persevere.
What is the sunken cost fallacy?
A sunken cost challenge.
