How do you overcome shyness and social anxiety? Are introverts more likely to develop depression? Are introverts rare? Can introverts be social?
There are various arguments and myths surrounding shyness and social anxiety. I am a natural introvert. Some would say, "Shyness is fear based," that shyness is a gene, that "that's just the way I am," others would argue that "Introverts aren't uncomfortable in social situations they just rather not socialize."
In this, I uncover how to get over shyness, how to overcome shyness, while teaching you the real truth behind social shyness in this video. Shy-ness is a dangerous term. It is really important to understand that it is not a characteristic or a personality trait. It is a temporary state or response to a situation - a behavior you learned. Many people (including best-selling authors and speakers) confuse being an introvert with shyness, social anxiety, or a lack of social skills.
