How to make your marketing documents more accessible

  • Did you know that in Australia, over 13 million people have one or more chronic (long-term) eye conditions? And that over 575,000 are blind or vision impaired in Australia alone.

    I certainly didn’t.

    And I’m embarrassed to admit that until I met Kathryn Collins, a graphic designer that specialises in creating accessible documents (and the 2nd person in Australia to recently qualified as an Accessible Document Specialist with the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), I had never really spared a thought about the importance of making marketing material more accessible., I had never really spared a thought about the importance of making marketing material more accessible.

    In this episode, Kathryn talks about what document accessibility is and how we can all start to make our communications more inclusive.
