Howard Bloom joins The DK Project to talk about his time as Michael Jackson's publicist during 1980s. Although Bloom grew up to be an aristocratic scientist who knew nothing about popular music, he became a journalist in the world of music and in 1976 founded one of the biggest publisher companies in the music industry in the 1970s and 1980s. He has been instrumental in building or sustaining more than 100 careers, including Prince, Bob Marley, Jöhn, ZZ Top, Bette Midler, Billy Joel, and, of course, Michael Jackson.
Howard and Darren will be discussing his fascinating and extraordinary musical journey, how he came to work with the Jackson family and how he deepens the philosophies of Howard about what made him so magical. They also talked about Howard's new book and its many great stories of Einstein, Michael Jackson, and Me: a soul search in the power pits of Rock and Roll are all going on.
