After years of research and countless hours fine tuning, Movie Shouting has determined the greatest grading system to evaluate movies on.  Every movie starts at 100 and if you like something you add points and if you don’t like something you subtract points.

     Howard the Duck is a 1986 superhero comedy film by Willard Huyck, starting Lea Thompson, Jeffrey Jones and Tim Robbins.  Based on the Marvel comic of the same name.  The movie was produced by Gloria Katz with George Lucas serving as executive producer.

     In this film, Howard the Duck is suddenly beamed from Duckworld, a planet full of humanoid ducks, to Earth.  He lands in Cleveland where he forms a friendship with Beverly (Lea Thompson).  She introduces him to Phil (Time Robbins) who introduces them to Dr. Jenning (Jeffrey Jones).  When Dr. Jenning attempts to return Howard to Duckworld, he instead transfers a dark overlord of the universe into his own body. Now Howard must save the Earth from the evil spirit.
